Belize
1 – 13 February 2023
I was looking for somewhere to go in early 2023 when Intrepid had their Black Friday sale in November. I wanted something less than two weeks, somewhere close and somewhere hot with snorkelling opportunities.
I had spoken to someone who had a friend living in Belize and they had nothing but good things to say. The Intrepid Land of Belize fit the bill perfectly with a few days visiting the country ending off with a couple days in the islands. Even better, we has a couple of free days and I was able to visit Tikal in Guatamala on one of them.
The hardest part was finding flights. I wanted to stay with Star Alliance and there was nothing direct, so I opted for a stop in Houston in both directions. Overall, after all the excitement of travel in 2022, this tour went pretty well without a hitch from start to finish.

Thanks I will enjoy reading this and great you got to visit Tikal. I don’t think we will be travelling again except for local trips or to the Vancouver area.
