Well, after two and a half years since my last trip, I finally took the dive into travelling again. In November, 2021, I had booked a tour to Costa Rica that I had to cancel due to Omicron. I lost my every penny I paid for the tour, so when Omicron started to wane, I started to look at other tour companies and saw that Intrepid had a very good cancellation policy.
I waited until the middle of February to book the Classic Costa Rica tour in order to give less time for another variant to pop up.
I choose Costa Rica because a pre-arrival test was not required. After having avoided Covid for two years, I didn’t want my luck to run out the day before I left.
I wrote this tale as I travelled, so it it very detailed.
