2024 Texas Bluebonnet and Solar Eclipse Tour

In 2017, my search for an eclipse tour introduced me to Tempest Tours as they offered a week long eclipse/storm chasing tour.

We had to chase after clear skies but found them in Alliance, Nebraska, and had an incredible show.

In 2024, they offered another week long tour call the Texas Bluebonnet and Solar Eclipse Tour for the total solar eclipse based out of Dallas. As with 2017, we had to chase for clear skies, this time from Texas to Arkansas.

Again, we were treated to an amazing show.

The rest of the week was a combination of storm chasing, BBQ, sightseeing and photographing bluebonnets in the Austin and Dallas areas.

I wrote the tale as we travelled to include as much detail as possible. You can start with the Pre-Days or use the Table of Contents.

All my photos can be found on my flickr page.

Enjoy
