The Winterset Experience

This past weekend I had the opportunity to attend the 2013 Winterset in Summer literary festival in Eastport, Newfoundland. I was invited to read from my novel Braco as part of the New Voices panel with Grant Loveys (Our Gleaming Bones Unrobed) and Claire Wilkshire (Maxine). Meet Newfoundland’s newest romance novelist: Victoria Barbour

I am pleased today to have the opportunity to host debut novelist Victoria Barbour as she continues her blog tour celebrating ahrthe release of her new romance novel Against her Rules. Available on e-readers everywhere, this witty Newfoundland based romance novel was a pleasant departure from my usual reading fare. Elsie Walsh is a B&B owner in Heart’s Ease who has one rule: no sleeping with the guests. That is, until Campbell Scott shows up. The result is a fun summer read with a wonderful cast of characters.

When I was given the opportunity to interview Victoria for her blog tour, I knew exactly who I wanted to focus on.

Web Presence

I’m still working on setting up this blog and tried to put up a post a few times over the past week but writer’s block hit. Which is weird for me. I never get writer’s block. While I was writing Braco, I had a motto that helped prevent block. I cut it from the box my sneakers came in and pinned it to the wall above my computer: Just Do It.

It works. Really.
