Quick Press

I’ve been a bit quiet since getting home from the surgery two weeks ago, and while recovering physically has been going very smoothly, my head has been a bit sluggish. Nothing horrendous but enough to make it hard to write a lot. Someone suggested that it could be a side-effect of the anesthesia, and sure enough, I googled it and this kind of sluggishness is not unusual, especially the older we are when we have surgery. And I’m no spring chicken. The good news is that it should fade over the next few weeks.

So, I’m taking this opportunity to experiment a little with Word Press and I’m trying out the Quick Press function.

In the meantime, here’s a picture of my cat, Shadow.

Shadow

She’s letting me know what she thinks of the new hairball treats.

Happy Vitamin C Day!

    1. Thanks!

Yes, it’s a great little function for a quick post like this and adding the picture was just as easy. Linked me straight to the media section to upload it and it inserts the pic no problem. Editing is per normal. 😀

  1. Glad you’re on the mend Lesleyanne.

Quick press hey? You’ll have to show me that tomorrow. Pudder is some sweet! Looks like she’s licking her tongue out at you lol. 🙂

    1. Yeah, she sometimes traps her tongue there after she yawns bit it’s like she doesn’t notice and it’ll stay like that until she licks her chops. I was lucky to be holding my camera at that precise moment. LOL

Yes, I’ll be interested to see if WP.org has the Quick Press function. I did find a tutorial online about how to move from .com to .org so hopefully we’ll all be on the same page soon. 🙂

      1. Oh cool! Yeah I looked for a plugin for the subscribe thing and I’m lost. Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi! You’re my only hope!
